The following appointments of priests and deacons in the St. Paul Diocese take effect Aug, 1, unless otherwise indicated.

Father Edmond Croteau is appointed to Sunday ministry in French for the St. Paul Cathedral Parish.

Father Réal Levasseur is appointed to Sunday ministry in French for the St. Paul Cathedral Parish.

Father Peter Tran, chancellor, is granted a sabbatical year.

Father Rene Realuyo is appointed episcopal vicar for the clergy without prejudice to his present duties.

Father Brian Bricker, op, is appointed pastor of St. Jean Baptiste, Morinville, and St. Emile, Legal.

Father Thomas Dieu is appointed pastor of St. Raphael, LeGoff, St. Marguerite d'Youville, Elizabeth Settlement and St. Eugene, Fishing Lake.

Father Francis Khai Phan is appointed pastor of St. Anne, Thorhild, Our Lady of Atonement, Smoky Lake and St. Joseph, Radway.

Father John Rohit, ims, is appointed pastor of St. Anne, Barrhead and St. John the Evangelist, Swan Hills. This is effective June 16.

Father Prokash Dias, sac, is appointed associate pastor of St. Paul, Fort McMurray.

Father Aureus Manjares is appointed associated pastor of St. Jean Baptiste, Morinville and St. Emile, Legal.

Father Manoj Mathew, cmi, is appointed pastor of St. Laurent, Brosseau, Sacred Heart, Saddle Lake and St. Matthias, Goodfish Lake.

Deacon Jerry Metz is appointed vice-chancellor.

Deacon Raymond Chan is appointed diaconal liaison for the bishop.

OTHER APPOINTMENTS:

Father Ignacy Warias, omi, of Morinville and Legal is reassigned by his community.

Father Damian Nwachukwu, smmm, of Thorhild, Smoky Lake and Radway is reassigned by his community.

Father Martin Jubinville retires from pastoral ministry effective June 15.
