Re: Seminarian Kelly Wilson's article, "Gays, lesbians, must be treated with dignity" (WCR, Dec. 26). It is true that we must not be disparaging to those practising homosexuals and lesbians, but the bigger issue is their salvation. These people must be prayed for and helped when possible to return to a life of purity and chastity. There are organizations that can help them out of this sinful lifestyle onto the path of eternal salvation. A true seer was given a message to pray for only good God-fearing leaders in our government so we will have just laws against homosexuality and no more abortions. This should be our help for them, in prayer, as most of us do not come in direct contact with these people. It is a sad fact that now some schools have included this in their teaching as a lifestyle. It is imperative now for parents and society to stop this escalation of immorality to the youth, as our brother's keeper.
