Re: “School board chair retires after six years of service” (WCR, July 15).

What is said is too beautiful to be true. I had to take my girl out of the Catholic school because of the religion classes. She was not being taught the truth about the Catholic faith.

The students never hear about contraception and abortion. These subjects are no-no. The trustees and the superintendent refused to bring high school students to the March for Life because some parents complained about the graphics.

What will they say when their daughters get pregnant because of ignorance?

We need to have trustees that know their faith and are willing to pass it on to our children through teachers who are practising Catholics according to the magisterium of the Catholic Church.
