Archdiocese makes pastoral appointments

Edmonton Archdiocese Coat of Arms

The Edmonton Archdiocese June 28 announced the following changes in pastoral appointments:

Sacred Heart Parish, Red Deer:

Father Victor Eze, in a June 18 letter, has resigned as pastor.

Father Gregory Bittman, archdiocesan chancellor, has been appointed administrator of the parish, assisted by Father Michael Blanch as dominical vicar.

Effective Aug. 11, Father Martin Carroll is appointed pastor.

St. Matthew Parish, Edmonton

Father Paul Kavanagh is appointed pastor, effective Aug. 11. He will continue his duties as archdiocesan director of liturgy.
