"The Maronite faith is known as the faith of the mountains; that's why we included the mountains," explains Father Michel Kassas. The crowns on both Mary and Jesus, as well as on the sceptre in Mary's right hand, contain real stones. Parishioner Artist Antoine Chelala painted the $20,000 mural, which was installed May 30.
