Melton award winner

OLDS - Carlos Nunez is this year's recipient of the archdiocesan Catholic Women's League's Doreen Melton Award.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Nunez entered the seminary at Christ the King in 2002. He is completing his second year of theological studies at St. Joseph Seminary.

The scholarship is given annually to a seminarian from the Edmonton Archdiocese.

"I didn't realize all these wonderful ladies in the CWL would support me," Nunez said.
