This is a time of change for the Council of Women Religious. We are now called the Council of Consecrated Women so that we now incorporate the consecrated virgins into our membership and on our council.

The members of the council are as follows from left to right: front row - Sr. Jeannette Filthaut (Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul [Kingston]), chairperson; Sr. Pat Derbyshire (Sisters of Charity of St. Louis), vice-chairperson.

Those in the second row are: Rose Marie Fowler; Sr. Eileen McAleese (Sisters of St. Joseph); Sr. Marguerite Letourneau (Sisters of Charity of Montreal); Sr. Germaine Rosenberger (Ursuline Sisters of Prelate), treasurer; Sr. Marilyn Matz (Faithful Companions of Jesus), (secretary); Sr. Frances MacDougall (Congregation of Notre Dame); Sr. Cornelia Ramirez (Religious of the Virgin Mary).
