Priests' appointments for the archdiocese

The following pastoral appointments in the Edmonton Archdiocese will take place Aug. 13:
- Father Lawrence Agorchukwu, current associate pastor of St. Anthony Parish, Lloydminster, and attached parish, concludes his term of service in the archdiocese.
- Father Martin Carroll, current pastor of St. Theresa Parish, Edmonton, becomes pastor of St. Matthew Parish, Edmonton, and is appointed vicar for clergy.
- Father James Corrigan, current pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Wetaskiwin, and attached parishes in Hobbema and Ponoka, becomes pastor of St. Theresa Parish, Edmonton.
- Father Marc Cramer, current pastor of St. Stephen Parish, Lacombe, becomes pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Wetaskiwin, and Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Parish, Hobbema.
- Father Adam Daniluk, currently in residence at St. Joseph's Basilica, Edmonton, becomes Associate Pastor of Holy Family Parish, St. Albert.

- Father Les Drewicki, current pastor of St. Stephen Parish, Olds, and attached parishes in Didsbury, Sundre and Trochu, becomes pastor of St. Mary Parish, Red Deer.
- Father Victor Eze, current pastor of St. Margaret Parish, Rimbey, and attached parishes in Bentley, Sylvan Lake and Winfield, becomes pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Red Deer.
- Father Leonard Gartner, currently on sabbatical, becomes Pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish, Wainwright, and attached parish in Chauvin.
- Father Raymond Guimond, current pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish, Wainwright, and attached parish in Chauvin, becomes full-time chaplain of Grey Nuns Hospital, Cross Cancer Institute, and Kipnes Centre in Edmonton.
- Father Leo Hofmann, current pastor of St. Matthew Parish, Edmonton, is granted a sabbatical year.
- Father Paul Kavanagh, current pastor of St. Mary Parish, Red Deer, becomes archdiocesan director of liturgy and master of ceremonies, assisting and residing at St. Joseph's Basilica.

- Father Gary Lee, current associate pastor of St. Mary Parish, Red Deer, becomes associate pastor of St. Theresa Parish, Edmonton.
- Father Oscar Monroy, current pastor of Santa Maria Goretti Parish, Edmonton, becomes full-time chaplain of the University of Alberta Hospital, Stollery Children's Hospital, and Royal Alexandra Hospital.
- Father Maurice Okolie, current associate pastor of Holy Family Parish, St. Albert, becomes pastor of St. Stephen Parish, Olds, and attached parishes in Didsbury, Sundre and Trochu.
- Salesian Father Krzysztof Sobanski, current associate pastor of St. Joseph's Basilica, Edmonton, becomes pastor of St. Stephen Parish, Lacombe, and St. Augustine Parish, Ponoka.
- Father Don Stein, current pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Red Deer, retires from active parish ministry.
- Father Gabriel Udeh, current associate pastor of St. Theresa Parish, Edmonton, becomes pastor of St. Margaret Parish, Rimbey, and attached parishes in Bentley, Sylvan Lake, and Winfield.
Two other pastoral appointments affecting Edmonton's two Polish parishes will take place Aug. 1:
- Oblate Father Kazimerz Kozicki replaces Oblate Father Roman Nisiewicz, as associate pastor of Holy Rosary Parish.
- Oblate Father Slawomir Oblak replaces Oblate Father Janusz Jajesniak, as pastor of Our Lady Queen of Poland Parish.
