Mother Teresa of Calcutta has found a permanent home at Edmonton's St. Andrew's Church, 12810-111 Ave. During Sunday Mass Aug. 13 Father Vic Perron, the pastor, blessed an eight-by-two-foot stained glass window depicting the legendary Catholic nun who dedicated her life to the poor. Hers is the 11th of 20 stained glass windows being made by Winters Studios to beautify St. Andrew's Church. Dr. Joseph Fernando donated the $10,500 that it cost to make the window. "Those who pay for the cost get to name the saint," Perron said. Fernando dedicated the window in loving memory of Joseph and Bridget Fernando and Robert Gordon. St. Josemaria Escriv , the founder of Opus Dei, is among the next nine saints to be put up. Saints put up prior to Mother Teresa include St. Andrew, St. Jude, St. Francis and St. Joseph.
