First Catholic Church in Red Deer built under supervision of Father Henri Voisin. Church blessed and dedicated to the Sacred Heart by Bishop Emile Legal on June 10, 1906.

Priests of Ste. Marie (Tinchebray Fathers) move headquarters to Red Deer, purchasing property atop North Hill for convent, college, residence. The Montfort Sisters (Daughters of Wisdom) arrive in Red Deer in October 1908.

Daughters of Wisdom purchase former college of Tinchebray Fathers in 1925. Renamed it Montfort School after their founder, St. Louis-Marie de Montfort.

St. Mary's Church (official dedication Dec. 8); Mass was held in the St Thomas Aquinas School gym until church was completed.
