Filipino council organizes Masses

SPECIAL TO THE WCR

EDMONTON — Nazareno Council No. 12904 of the Knights of Columbus is now sponsoring Masses in Filipino to help local Filipinos preserve their cultural background and religious beliefs.

The first Mass was held Nov. 4 at St. Charles Church and the next Mass, known as Simbang Pilipino, will be held Jan. 13 at 3 p.m. at Annunciation Church, 9420-163 St. The celebrants will be Fathers Nestor Watin and Rene Realuyo.

Please bring statues of Sto. Nino and Jesus, the Nazarene, for blessing. Also, please bring non-perishable goods for the food bank.
