Knights adore the EucharistSPECIAL TO THE WCR
EDMONTON — The Knights of Columbus Nazareno Council 12904 has committed to a monthly all-night Eucharistic Vigil at St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital Chapel. The Eucharistic Vigil begins at 8 p.m. and ends with a Mass celebrated by council chaplain, Father Nestor Watin, at 6 a.m. Two all-night vigils have already been held. Each hour had a group of people keeping vigil before the Holy Eucharist. The next morning, all participants gathered again in the chapel as Watin celebrated Mass. Vatican II emphasized that Christian life is not complete if it is not Eucharistic. We achieve this not only through receiving Holy Communion but also through Eucharistic Adoration. The next all-night Eucharistic Adoration will be held Sept. 21-22, with Holy Hours beginning at 8 p.m. The public is welcome. |
