Notre Dame sisters combine provinces

SPECIAL TO THE WCR

The founding chapter of Visitation Province of the Congregation de Notre Dame (CND) concluded April 28.

Approximately 166 delegates chose four full-time members as the team responsible, with the membership, for the transition of the former two Canadian English speaking provinces into one new entity, extending across the country.

The newly-elected provincial Sister Josephine Badali and the three other members, Sisters Marie Arsenault, Agnes Campbell and Lorraine Costello, begin their new mandate July 1. Their offices will be in Halifax-Dartmouth, N.S.
