Sisters of Social Service choose new leaders

Hamilton, Ont.

The Sisters of Social Service gathered here in August to set directions for their life and ministry for the next four years.

They also elected the following sisters to leadership posts:

  • Sister Jeanine Scarfone, general director.
  • Sister Kathleen Kelly, assistant.
  • Sister Gabriella Petoniak, first councilor.
  • Sister Ernestine Miskolczi, secretary.
Retiring from office were Sisters Anastasia Young, Fidelis Orban and Ethel Nemeth.
