No favouritism for CatholicsRe: "Italian cardinal asks gov't. to favour Catholic immigrants (WCR, Sept. 25).I was most appalled at reading this article. Here in Lacombe and Red Deer, we have St. Stephen's Catholic Church, St. Andrew's United Church, and Sunnybrook United Church in Red Deer. So far we have sponsored four families only one person of which was Catholic. To me they all are beautiful and wonderful people. When Jesus walked this earth, he didn't stop to ask who was Catholic or Muslim. He called everyone "brother." Canada is a very multicultural country. I think we can also learn from each other.
