So now we’re being asked to kneel during the proper of the Mass.

It wasn’t very long ago that we were told it was appropriate for us to stand throughout, until everyone had received Communion, since we are after all a community of people who form the Body of Christ.

The recent changes are supposed to enrich our worship.

What next? One would think that we were children in kindergarten.

When we are born to a new life, I doubt that Our Lord will be judging us by whether we were kneeling or standing or sitting.

Our Church leaders should be emphasizing instead, measures that will bring us closer to God, such as looking after our street people and feeding the starving population in third and fourth world countries.
