Regarding people’s attire at church, I believe that God welcomes everyone who attends Mass, and so should we.

In the Bible, there is no mention of Jesus chastising the crowds for not dressing in a particular manner.

It saddens me that people are judged largely on externals. If we were to see with the eyes of God, I think we would find that the condemned often embody more of the spirit of Jesus than those who would condemn.

I am grateful that our priests focus on the interior lives of the faithful, instead of on things that don’t matter.
