Rolheiser’s humble tone led to inspired article

Father Rolheiser’s article encouraging Catholics to attend Mass was a masterpiece (“An open letter to you, the one who does not go to church,” WCR Nov. 5). His tone was humble and loving as he reached out to those who have difficulty in attending Mass regularly.

Pregnancy centre needs more sonographers

It has been a little over a year since the Edmonton Chapter of the Knights of Columbus, spearheaded by Father Bonner Council, made a donation to Edmonton Pregnancy Crisis Centre that allowed EPCC to purchase a new ultrasound machine to show expectant mothers – and sometimes fathers – contemplating abortion the reality of the babies they are carrying.

Liturgy constitution grew out of Pope Pius' encyclical

The Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy was the first document approved at the Second Vatican Council. Unlike the council's other major documents, it sailed through the approval process fairly readily, although a tiny but vocal minority at first raised strenuous objections.

Sacred Heart Parish celebrates 100 years of joy-filled faith
